The 18-year-old is a product of the Southampton academy and comes in to provide competition to the club’s current no.1 Roco Rees.

Jeffries joined the Saints from AFC Totton in April 2022. During a trial match with Southampton U18s at AFC Totton’s Snows Stadium in February 2022, Jeffries impressed the Premier League club’s scouts enough to take him on an extended trial period, before offering him a full-time scholarship.

Since joining the Saints, Jeffries has featured for their U18s and U21s and trained with the first team, including some sessions with former Manchester City and Chelsea goalkeeper, Willy Caballero.
