Rebecca Bell, Hayley Bridge and Katie Cooper all commit to the Rebels for the 2024/25 season
Rebecca joined the Rebels in 2021 and has been a flash on the wings since joining. Bell has made 76 appearances for the Reds scoring 22 goals for the side. She was a vital part in John Donoghue’s Double winning side in the 2022/23 season in which the side won the League and League Cup.
She commented “I’m looking forward to getting the new season started. The changes within the club and the switch to the west league will add a new factor but our ambitions as a group stay the same. Coming into this season off the back of a positive run last year gives us the confidence to make our mark on this strong league and I’m excited to see what we can achieve.”
Hayley Bridge joins the Rebels for her third season, Bridge joined 2022 in a blockbuster announcement which saw her join alongside Georgia Tibble, Chloe Winchester, Niamh Andersson, Ellie Russell and Rachel Palmer. She enjoyed her first season at the club winning the double but unfortunately her second season was cut short due to an ACL injury which she sustained against Norwich.
She commented “I can’t wait to watch this group develop and push on from last season. It’s going to be exciting to test ourselves in the South West league. It’s a very talented team and I can’t wait to complete my rehab now that I’ve had my ACL reconstruction surgery, and be back on the pitch with them!”
