Defender Holly Talbut-Smith joins the Rebels ahead for the 2024/25 campaign.
Talbut-Smith played for Brighton at youth Level before making a move over to the USA. Over in the US Holly played for Carson-Newman University.
During her 4 year spell at Carson-Newman she made 85 games for the eagles. She racked up 22 goals and 29 assists during this period. Furthermore Holly gained a number of honors which included 2016 First team All-SAC, 2016 D2CCA Second team All-Southeast Region, 2016 NCAA Division II Academic All-District 3. With the following year gaining back-to-back All-SAC honors and Academic All-District honors.
Following her spell with Carson-Newman Talbut-Smith stay in the US and played for Nashville Rhythm FC before coming back to England.
Once back in England Holly joined Crawley Wasps. She would go onto stay in Crawley for 4 seasons, during her time with the Wasps she made 62 appearances which included a single season where Crawley Wasps become Haywards Heath Town.
I knew Holly from my time at wasps I know her ambition and determination! She always work hard and will help others to do it and she has experience that we need to go through the season so I am pleased to have her again !
