The 21-year-old is back at Worthing for his second loan spell at the club after joining from Sutton United.

He spent the second half of last season on loan with the Rebels and made 19 appearances in all competitions, scoring two goals, including a wonder strike away at Chelmsford City.

Wadham celebrates his goal away at Chelmsford City.

Boss Chris Agutter commented, “We’re very happy to welcome Jack back to Woodside. Similarly to the Mo Faal signing, the chance to sign Jack unexpectedly arose and despite us being relatively happy with the group, we felt the opportunity too good to turn down.

“Jack will no doubt help us to control more games on and off the ball which we believe is something we have only managed to do in moments so far this season. He is a steady head that plays with maturity which, coupled with his real quality on the ball, makes him a big addition to the group”.

Following his successful stint at Worthing last season, Wadham made the move from Bournemouth to Sutton United in the summer, but he has made just three league appearances for the U’s this term. He had been with Bournemouth since the age of 10 and captained their Under 18s side before graduating to the Under 21 team.

Wadham will wear the number 6 shirt for Worthing and he is available for selection for tomorrow’s National League South match at home to Maidstone United.
