Season 2020-21 was unusual in that matches were fitted in around the restrictions put in place for COVID. Friendlies were played pre-season, mid-season and post-season, many of these being behind closed doors.

We first played a side representing Welling United on 22nd May 2021, in one of those post-season friendlies. It was billed as being against Welling’s U-23 side and was held behind closed doors at Woodside Road; we won 5-2, with the goals being scored by Ollie Pearce (2), Luca Cocoracchio, Ryan Richefond and Tyrese Mthunzi.

Another home friendly took place on 27th July the same year, this time against their first team, and we won 5-1.

Welling were our opponents in our first-ever away National League South fixture, and we won 4-2 on 13th August 2022. The home match on 7th January also ended in our favour, the score this time being 3-2.

Last season we again won the home league match, 2-0 on 5th September, but we were well beaten in the return fixture, losing 4-1 on 20th February, with Ollie Pearce scoring our goal.
