The Rebels come into the fixture off the back of three straight victories in three different competitions. Wins against Welling United in the National League South, Plymouth Parkway in the Emirates FA Cup and East Preston in the Sussex Transport Senior Cup have turned October into a positive period so far, having quickly put the defeat against Maidstone behind them.

They currently sit 11th in the National League South table, with a game-in-hand over four of the ten teams above them in the standings. Agutter’s side are targeting back-to-back league wins for the second time this season as they welcome the Angels to Woodside tomorrow afternoon.

Team News

Sam Beard will miss tomorrow’s match after picking up a one-match suspension for five yellow cards in the National League South this season.

Agutter confirmed that Jack Wadham and Joe Cook came out of training early on Thursday night and will have to be reassessed ahead of tomorrow’s encounter.

View from the Camp – Chris Agutter

“We’re looking forward to getting back to league action and hopefully building on three wins.

“I like the fact that we’re going to have a game every few days because it gives us a good chance to really build momentum and make a real impact on the league table.

“In terms of Tonbridge, I think they’re a really good side. They’re one of the best sides we’ve seen and that’s reflected in their good start”.

The Opposition

The Angels currently sit just one point and one position ahead of Worthing in 10th place in the National League South having played 10 games. They went unbeaten in their first nine matches this season, before losing to Slough Town in their most recent National League South encounter.

Like Worthing, they have also reached the First Round of the Emirates FA Cup where they have been drawn against Southern League Premier outfit Harborough Town.

Having played in the Emirates FA Cup every other week, it has actually been over a month since their last league win this season, which was at home to St Albans City on Tuesday 3 September when they won 2-0.
