Worthing come into this one on the back of a draw at home to Chelmsford City last time out. Chris Agutter’s side were trailing going into the break after Jordan Greenidge put the visitors in front.
The big turning point came in the second half when the Clarets were reduced to ten men after Archie Tamplin was sent off for a nasty challenge on Sam Beard. The Rebels found themselves level soon after through Mo Faal’s header, but they couldn’t quite find the way through for a winner and had to settle for a point.
The Rebels climbed back up into the play-off positions to 7th after picking up a point and tonight, they could climb to 5th should they win and Torquay United lose at home to league leaders Weston-super-Mare.
Team News
Glen Rea will serve the third of his four matches suspended tonight after his red card away at Chesham United. Other than Rea, and the longer-term injuries of Cameron Tutt and Taylor Seymour, Chris Agutter has a fully fit squad to choose from tonight.
The Opposition
Despite a recent run of poor form, the Yellows have had a good start to the campaign and they find themselves in the play-off positions in 6th after their strong start.
They have won just one of their last six matches in the National League South, though and in their most recent outing, they suffered late heartbreak against league leaders Weston-super-Mare in a 4-3 defeat.

23/11 – Weston-super-Mare (A) – Lost 4-3

Travel & Parking
By Road: Leave the M3 at Junction 4 and take the A331 towards Farnborough. At the bottom of the slip road, you will reach a roundabout where you take the exit towards Farnborough. Continue along this road for a short distance, ignoring the first turn-off, but then take the next turn-off towards Farnborough (A325). At the top of the slip road, you will reach a roundabout where you take the right-hand exit towards Farnborough. Then straight across the next roundabout continuing towards Farnborough/Frimley.
At the next roundabout take the left-hand filter lane continuing on the A325 (from this point Farnborough FC is signposted). You will pass a Shell Garage on your left and at the next set of traffic lights turn right into Prospect Avenue then at the bottom of the Avenue take the 3rd exit at the roundabout into Cherrywood Road. Go straight across at the next roundabout and the entrance to the ground is a little further down on the right.
There is a small car park at the ground, otherwise there is plenty of street parking available.
By Rail: Frimley Railway Station is the nearest to the ground, being around a 15-minute walk away. However, this station is on a local line and if you are coming from London Waterloo then you will end up instead at Farnborough Main station, which is around one and a half miles away from the ground (around a 25-minute walk away). It is probably best to jump in a taxi. If you do decide to walk then as you come out of the station turn right along Union Street. At the end of Union Street turn right into Prospect Road. This road leads into Cherrywood Road for the ground.
