The Rebels come into the fixture on the back of what was arguably their best performance of the season on Saturday, as they beat high-flying Weston-super-Mare 3-0.
Temi Babalola returned to the starting eleven and announced himself in style by scoring the opener around 10 minutes in. Then, he set up Mo Faal to double the advantage 10 minutes later. Before half time, the visitors were reduced to ten men when Dylan Kadji picked up his second yellow card and the job was all but complete at the break.
Into the second half, Babalola set up another goal to round off a fantastic afternoon. He showed his strength in holding up the ball before slotting in Danny Cashman for the third goal and to secure all three points.
The result had moved the Rebels back up into the play-off places, but following results last night, they are in 8th place ahead of tonight’s encounter.
Team News
Chris Agutter will again be without Tommy Willard this evening after the thigh injury he sustained at Farnborough last week. Ollie Black also remains sidelined as he recovers from concussion, while Joe Cook serves his one-match suspension for his red card at Farnborough last week.
His side will however be boosted by the return of Glen Rea who has missed the last four matches through suspension.
The Opposition
Salisbury come into the fixture on the back of a dominant performance themselves, after a 5-0 win against Hemel Hempstead on the weekend. The victory put paid to a seven-game run without a win in the league.
The Whites have picked up 20 points from 18 matches so far this season and find themselves in 19th place in the league table coming into tonight’s fixture.
