Biography

A domineering presence at the heart of the backline, ‘H’ reunites with his former Eastbourne Borough boss ‘Agi’ after the then teenage defender’s performances at Priory Lane – many of them as Captain – earned him a move to Championship outfit Millwall.

The central defender originally joined the Borough after his release from Brighton & Hove Albion and also spent two separate loan periods at Dover Athletic.

The first of which occurred while at the New Den followed by a second temporary spell in Kent upon his subsequent departure from the Lions and transfer to Crawley Town.

It was back home in Sussex that he finally made a long-awaited professional debut in League Two. That campaign ended with Play-Off glory at Wembley Stadium courtesy of a final triumph over Crewe Alexandra.

Three years at the Broadfield came to an end by way of a move to Sutton United, where he became an ever- present figure in the National League Cup.

The U’s progressed all the way to the final, with Harry bagging a goal against (the youngsters of) Tottenham Hotspur for good measure.

Operating occasionally in midfield, Ransom’s technical abilities shone through on his debut vs The Albion.
