Bucketloads of experience for a midfielder who celebrated his 22nd birthday in February.

Matt’s formative years were spent at Brighton & Hove Albion, prior to a move to Bournemouth where he progressed from their U15’s through to their U23’s.

A loan to Truro City was succeeded by a similar arrangement at Slough Town before he really landed on his feet at our local rivals Bognor Regis Town.

In two seasons at Nyewood Lane, Matt was named Captain and further emphasised his standing amongst his teammates by receiving the Players’ Player of the Year title for the 2023/24 campaign.

Equally effective in or out of possession in his role as a real, old-fashioned box-to-box engine room grafter, bringing a unique combination of hard work, enthusiasm and enduring quality.
