A popular returnee who rose from the subs bench at Tonbridge and started at home to Slough Town in the second half of January ‘24. Former youth team Captain at Watford where he signed professional forms but was released in August 2016 without quite breaking into the first team.
Started the next campaign at then-Isthmian Prem Hendon before moving onto eventual play-off semi-finalists Wingate & Finchley. Made his original bow for us at Met Police on the opening day of 2017-18 and scored a rasper against his former club, high-flying Hendon in late October that term.
A hugely likeable lad who was named Player of the Year by his teammates at the end of his first season at Woodside Road. Since leaving these shores, Alfie moved further inland when signing for both Potters Bar Town and Kingstonian, until the scent of the seaside saw him dig out his bucket and spade in preparation for moves to Lewes and, more recently, Ramsgate. Whom he helped to the top of the Isthmian South East, alongside a 2023 FA Cup run that only came to end in front of nearly seven thousand at AFC Wimbledon in Round Two, following a first round upset of National League Woking.
