It’s the second signing in as many days for Jesus Cordon, following the arrival of striker Jasmine Smith yesterday afternoon.

Oceana is another promising player that adds an injection of youth into the side. At just 16-years-old, our newest Rebel featured in the FA Cup for AFC Portchester a few seasons ago.

Her striking performances attracted plenty of suitors and Southampton won the race for the teenager’s signature. Still 16, she appeared in the FA Women’s National League for the Saints, the third tier of the football pyramid.

An 18-year-old midfielder with an eye for goal alongside plenty of strong technical attributes, Oceana is entering her third year as a member of the Hampshire FA Academy.

Three new faces have bolstered Jesus Cordon’s ranks this summer, with Oceana and Jasmine joining Skye Bacon at the Sussex Transport Community Stadium

The Spaniard’s side is beginning to take shape ahead of our FA Women’s National League Division One South West opener away to Portishead Town on the 17th August.

On Oceana’s decision to join the Club, Jesus said: “I am so happy to have a player like Oceana, not only because of her quality, but also her passion for the game and commitment is fantastic.

“Every team needs a player like Oceana and we will work hard to get the best out of her.”

Welcome to Woodside, Oceana!
