As a result the match will now take place on Monday 13 October, 7.30pm kick-off.
In addition, the draw for the Emirates FA Cup first round will take place in the 1886 Lounge – in partnership with Jones & Tomlin – prior to the match and will be shown live on TNT in the build up – meaning the Reds will be aware of the incentive of beating their National League opponents holds in the following round.
Chief Operating Officer, Keith Mitchell said: “To be selected for broadcast is one thing, but to host the FA Cup first round draw beforehand is amazing, and represents great exposure for the club”.
It will be third time in recent history that the TNT cameras have visited the Sussex Transport Community Stadium, following the NLTV coverage of the league fixture with Bath City in March 2024 and the play-off final defeat to Braintree Town the following month.
The sports broadcasting giant also commissioned ‘The Club That George Built’, a film about owner George Dowell, which aired in October last year.
Mitchell continued: “We are delighted to welcome TNT Sports back to the Sussex Transport Community Stadium for what promises to be an intriguing match against Forest Green Rovers”.
“The magic and romance of the FA Cup adds another exciting dimension to the fixture, as does the opportunity to play against a top team under the lights at Woodside”.
Ticket information for the fixture will be circulated shortly.
