Adam Hinshelwood and his players will be attempting to string two wins on the bounce for the second time this season tomorrow evening in Buckinghamshire.
They will be looking to carry the weekend’s momentum into their midweek exploits with a victory over Chesham potentially catapulting the Rebels into the play-off places.
Saturday was punctuated by a feeling of triumph, as they edged out 10-man Chelmsford City away from home with a 2-1 victory. Joel Colbran scored his third of the season for the opener, with Harry Ransom netting the winner after Lyle Taylor executed an unstoppable free-kick.
A vital three points was collected in Essex, which will boost the squad ahead of a congested period.
The Opposition
Chesham United currently sit just inside of the play-off places with almost a quarter of the season played.
The Generals picked up their fourth win of the campaign in their last outing, as they beat title challengers Torquay United at The Meadow.

Their home record has been a big factor in their success having tasted defeat on only one occasion in the 2025/26 season.
It has been a positive start to their second successive season in the National League South after comfortably finishing in mid-table last term.
They earned promotion into the sixth tier two years ago as they were crowned champions of the Southern League Premier South.
The Gaffer(s)
Joint-managers James Duncan and Michael Murray have been working in tandem at The Meadow since 2018.
The managerial duo have been working together for several years. Prior to their move to Chesham, they also held the post at Potters Bar Town, where they earned promotion into the Isthmian League Premier Division.
As a player, Murray appeared at North Greenford United, Uxbridge and Hendon before becoming a regular scorer for Northwood.
Since their appointments, Chesham have experienced a rise up the pyramid and are starting to establish themselves as a consistent National League South outfit.
One to Watch
Connor Stevens has been a standout player for Chesham United this season and has been big part of their strong defensive unit.
The full-back was included in the most recent National League South Team of the Week, alongside Toby Byron, for his display in the 1-0 win over Torquay United on the weekend.
Stevens is equally adept at centre back and has recorded three league assists from defence this season. He captained the Generals in their goalless draw with Maidstone United and has played every minute of their league campaign so far.
The 27-year-old joined Chesham following his release from Barnet in July 2024. In the infancy of his career, Stevens was on the books at Watford’s academy, before moving to Boreham Wood and Wealdstone.
Chesham also boast a familiar face in their defensive ranks, with central defender Alfie Young currently playing at The Meadow. Alfie departed Woodside Road during the summer after making almost 150 appearances for the Rebels across two spells.
View from the Camp – Adam Hinshelwood
“Chelmsford and Chesham away, back to back, is a tough ask for any team. That’s our challenge now, and if you want to be a team that is competing, you’ve got to dust yourselves down and go again on Tuesday night.”
