Dover Athletic’s largest winning margin in matches against us came in our first meeting, on 25th July 1995, when our visitors won 8-0 at Woodside Road in a pre-season friendly.

The match containing the most goals was our last encounter, on 10th February 2024, when we defeated Dover 6-4 in the home National League South fixture; Ollie Pearce scored four times that day, with Joel Colbran and Dylan Fage completing the scoring.

Dover were our first-ever opponents in National League South, the match on 6th August 2022 ending in a 1-1 draw, and the return fixture saw us secure our best win in these meetings, when we won 3-0 in Kent.

We met in the Isthmian League Premier Division in 2004-05 and in the same competition’s Division 1 South three seasons later.

There has been one cup tie between us. In 1999-2000 we drew 1-1 at home in the FA Cup 4th qualifying round; an extra-time goal in the replay was enough to see us through to the first round and a trip to Rotherham United.
