The duo have been absent from the last couple of matchday squads due to injury and have now received diagnoses following tests and scans.
Bailey suffered a hamstring injury in the early stages of our 2-1 away victory over Chesham United last month and was forced off the pitch in the ninth minute. Initial scans revealed that the injury required surgery and following consultation the forward underwent a procedure over the weekend. Fortunately, the surgery was a success, however the nature of the injury means the 20-year-old is unlikely to feature again this season. Bailey will now embark on a period of recovery, assisted by the club’s medical staff.
Sam sustained a knee injury midway through the second half of our 3-0 win over Hampton & Richmond Borough at the start of November. Tests indicate that there is damage to both his Medial Collateral Ligament and Anterior Cruciate Ligament, although they aren’t considered as serious as first feared.

The vice-captain is forecasted to be sidelined for the remainder of 2025, with hopes that he can return to training at some point in the New Year.
Speedy recovery, Bailey and Beardy!
