I’m really pleased to announce that the Club have agreed to have a Fan Advisory Board (FAB).
It’s not a requirement at our level but it is at National League level. The Board want to establish one to enable more formal and structured engagement between the Club’s supporter groups providing a communication gateway to the main board.
The scope of the FAB will be to provide feedback and opinion on key operational and strategic matters centred around Club culture and heritage. It will also cover matchday and non-matchday supporter experience issues and opportunities.
As the Supporter Liaison Officer I’ve agree to chair the meeting supported by Chief Operating Officer Keith Mitchell.
Myself and Keith met with a number of supporters recently to outline the role of the FAB and to discuss how supporters can get involved and help shape its work.
The next stage is for supporters to put themselves forward to be a member on the FAB. Our aim is to have our first Board meeting in January and gather ideas on priorities for the FAB in its first year.
Up the Rebels, Paul
