After a very fruitful month on the pitch, the team’s form on a collective and individual level during recent weeks has attracted attention from the league.

Adam Hinshelwood guided his side to five wins out of six league matches last month, which included recording four clean sheets and scoring 20 goals.

Outside of our league exploits, the 41-year-old also managed to steer his players through to the next round of the Isuzu FA Trophy and quarter-final stage of the Sussex Transport Senior Cup. ‘Hinsh’ is one of four nominees for the award, alongside Torquay United’s Paul Wotton, Dover Athletic’s Jake Leberl and Dagenham & Redbridge manager Lee Bradbury

A goal-laden month has deservedly resulted in a nomination for the National League South’s Player of the Month award for Brad Dolaghan.

In just six matches, our academy graduate found the back of the net on a staggering 10 occasions, a goal return which has seen him assume first position in the race for the NLS Golden Boot.

A first competitive senior hat-trick in the 4-0 win against AFC Totton at the Sussex Transport Community Stadium was followed up with a brace in the triumphs over Slough Town and Hornchurch on the weekend.

Prior to claiming the match ball in BN14, the 20-year-old also grabbed two goals in the 4-0 toppling of Hemel Hempstead, while also netting the opener as we claimed three points over Hampton & Richmond Borough on the first day of the month.

Elsewhere, there is a double nomination from Torquay for POTM as forwards Louis Dennis and Jordan Young make the shortlist, both of whom netted in the Gulls’ 3-2 victory over the Rebels on the 25th November.

The other candidate for the accolade is former Premier League and England striker Andy Carroll following impressive form in recent weeks.
