Heavy rain is forecast in Hertfordshire overnight, requiring the The Ambers’ to call a pitch inspection between 9am – 10am to decide weather the game will go ahead.
But boss Hinsh highlights the importance that despite this, his side are still ready and prepared for the test the newly promoted side will bring,
“We have one or two injuries at the moment, Shola (Ayoola) and Mason (Doughty) have picked up knocks and we’re still assessing Ross (Edwards) but we’re still happy with the squad that we’ve got.”
Cheshunt currently sit 15th in the table on 10 points, having most recently lost 3-0 away to Leatherhead.
“We’ll treat it like any other game that we’ve faced so far this season, keep professional and keep the performances high try not to leak too many goals.”
The Mackerels lost to East Thurrock United 3-2 at Woodside Road last Saturday, suffering their first loss in the league since the 6-0 humiliation to the hands of Hornchurch in mid-August.
Hinsh is hoping his side rediscover their form having been unlucky not to at least draw against The Rocks last weekend,
“You always have to bounce back from a defeat, but it’s not going be easy tomorrow as nothing gets gifted to you in this league. We’re gonna have to go there and deserve to win.”
