The Mackerel Men go into the fixture top of the Pitching In Isthmian Premier Division, having extended their lead to three points on Tuesday evening with a 2-1 win over Potters Bar Town.
Meanwhile, hosts Leiston sit bottom of the Southern League Central Division and are yet to win register a league win thus far in the campaign, most recently losing 1-0 to St Ives Town on Tuesday night.
Despite their poor start to their league campaign, the Suffolk side reached the fourth and final qualifying round of the FA Cup, losing 3-2 to Barnet having led the National League side 2-0.
The Blues also used to compete in the Isthmian League as recent as the 2017-2018 season before their transferal to the Southern League central – a campaign which saw them achieve a playoff finish, losing to eventual winners Dulwich Hamlet in the semi-final.

In November 2017, the sides battled out a 1-1 stalemate at Woodside Road, before Worthing edged a five-goal thriller 3-2 in the return fixture in February 2018.
The clubs have also met in the FA Trophy back in October 2015 in the first qualifying round which saw Leiston run out 3-1 winners at Woodside Road.
