After his release at the end of last season, Ajiboye, who spent the last few months of 2017-18 playing in the under-23’s at Millwall, was back at The Amex for his farewell appearance in The Parafix Sussex Senior Cup Final in May. Picking up a winners medal as they overcame Crawley Town in a repeat of last year’s final.

The pacy forward with the quick feet is looking to impress in what will be his second spell at Worthing, after his loan tenure back in 2016-17 ended rather abruptly at home to Enfield Town. When he retaliated to a, admittedly bad, tackle the resulting dismissal and three match ban that came with it effectively ended his then temporary period at the club. (The end of his suspension coinciding with the end of his loan agreement.)

Second time around and his form already paints a much better picture. Starting with a goal at Wimborne and another against Gillingham under-23’s in the space of a few days, both games have seen that tremendous pace and trickery terrify the opposition.

With several of last season’s squad having left for pastures new this Summer, he has a great opportunity to step up to the plate and stake his claim for a starting berth at home to Wingate and Finchley in less than seven days time.
