It was great to see so many familiar faces back inside the Crucial Environmental Stadium over the weekend, supporting the club at the WFC Working Party, getting the ground ready to the 2021/22 season.

With your help, we got sooooo much done! Including a complete clean and polish of the seats & glass in the main stand, they’re gleaming! The Outside Bar got a lick of paint, as did the new fences and gates in the north east corner. The back of the main stand had a major clear out and large sections of the ground are now weed free! The workforce even found time to repair some the perimeter netting.

A really successful and productive day with plenty of the jobs to get us ‘season ready’ completed. These days are hugely important and we can’t thank you enough for taking time out of your weekend to come down and support the club, many hands makes light work and really does make a massive difference, so thank you again!

If you missed this one, fear not! We will be holding another WFC Working Party on Sunday 11th July, just a week or so before our first pre-season friendly at home, against Tonbridge Angels. Fixtures

10.00am to 2.00pm.

We will be tackling general cleaning, painting, gardening, net repairs, etc. No expertise necessary.

Kit and materials will be provided although it would be helpful if you could bring along gloves and overalls. If you have a favourite paint brush or broom, that would be good too.

Teas, coffees and snacks will be provided together with a tour of the ground to remind everyone where everything is!

The days will be Covid compliant.
