The fixture is Worthing’s third and final of a busy week for Adam Hinshelwood’s side, following on from back-to-back victories against Baffins Milton Rovers and Littlehampton Town on Tuesday and Wednesday:

Goals from Jasper Pattenden, Will Seager and Ollie Pearce saw the Reds edge a five-goal thriller away to Baffins in Portsmouth, before an Alfie Hall hat-trick and goals from Aarran Racine and Shaq Gwengwe helped towards a 5-1 victory at Littlehampton.

Meanwhile, Tonbridge Angels have enjoyed an impressive start to their pre-season campaign having won all of games without conceding a single goal, most recently beating Reds rivals Lewes 1-0 last Saturday.

The two sides last met in the Angel’s promotion season in the Isthmian Premier League 2018-19, when a sublime solo goal from David Ajiboye cancelled out the visitors’ opener in a 1-1 draw in front of a 1,300 plus crowd on Good Friday at Woodside Road.
