1-0

The fixture is to be Worthing’s first in 11 days, after Hornchurch’s FA Cup progression meant the Reds’ planned fixture in Essex last Saturday was postponed  until 5th October:

Goals from Dean Cox, Ollie Pearce, Reece Meekums and Mo Diallo helped Worthing to a dominating 4-0 victory away to strugglers Leatherhead in their last outing, moving to 5th in the table.

Meanwhile, visitors Corinthian-Casuals also enjoyed success against the Tanners in their most recent fixtures, winning 3-0 on Tuesday night in the FA Cup second qualifying round.

Recent Meetings

The two sides have already faced each other twice within the first month of the campaign:

Drawn against one-another in the FA Cup first qualifying round, they played out a 1-1 draw, with Diallo cancelling out a Ben Cheklit opener setting up a replay at King George’s Field, which Casuals won by three goals to one.
