The fixture comes as Worthing remained top of the league over the weekend, but fell to only their third league defeat with a 2-1 loss to Cheshunt on Saturday:
Ollie Pearce opened the scoring for Worthing on 10 minutes, but the visitors struck back with a brace from striker Roman Liburd in the first half to take all three points, becoming only the second side to achieve that so far this campaign.
Meanwhile, visitors Seaford Town are currently placed sixth in the second tier of the Southern Combination Football League, beating Midhurst & Easebourne away 2-1 on Saturday.
They thumped league-above Loxwood by six goals to one in the previous round to set up the tie this evening.
Recent History
Worthing are most successful team in the Sussex Senior Cup, having won the competition on 21 occasions, first in 1893 and most recently in 1999.
However, they slumped to an early exit in the incompleted Sussex Senior Cup last season with a 2-1 loss to Three Bridges in the second round – the final competitive fixture they would play in the short-lived 2020-21 campaign which was expunged due to the COVID pandemic.
Team news
Winger Jasper Pattenden is unavailable after being taken off injured on Saturday with potential ligament damage to his left ankle.
Marvin Armstrong returned from injury on Saturday after a spell on the sidelines, coming on as a substitute at half time.
