  • Kit Manager

    Worthing Football Club are seeking a volunteer Kit Manager.

    Location Sussex Transport Community Stadium and remote
    Reports to Football Director
    Salary Voluntary + Expenses

    The Role

    The candidate must be well-organised and have the ability to plan ahead. We are looking for someone with the capacity and flexibility to cope with occasional fixture changes.

    This is a key position within the football operations and you will work closely with the coaching staff both in the build-up to matches and on the day itself. You will take the lead in preparing the dressing room for the Men’s team for all matches which includes travelling to away fixtures.

    You will also manage our Kit Assistants to ensure kit and equipment is organised for our Women’s team and Youth teams.

    This is a voluntary role so a passion for the sport is essential. 

    Responsibilities

    • Manage the kit room ensuring the match day kit and training equipment is maintained to the highest possible standard.
    • Work closely with the Assistant Kit and Equipment Manager to ensure the kit and equipment are organised and prepared for all teams.
    • During the closed season, liaise with the manager to compile future kit requirements and assist the club secretary with orders.
    • Ensure the home kit is laundered and prepared for all home matches.
    • In discussion with the Manager and Football Director, agree match kit for away fixtures and ensure it is prepared and transported to the venue in good time.
    • For all matches prepare the dressing room laying out the kit, fluids and supplements.
    • Assist the management team in setting up the pitch for the pre-match warm-up as required.
    • Post-match ensure all kit is mustered and returned to the kit room, identifying any missing damaged items for replacement, and plan kit preparation for the next fixture.
    • To maintain a checklist of all kit & equipment requirements for home and away matches
    • To assist the Sports Science and Medical departments with storage and inventory

  • Matchday Staff

    Worthing Football Club have various vacancies for matchday staff at Woodside Road for the 2024/25 season.

    We are looking for friendly, customer-focussed individuals to help deliver a best in class matchday experience at Woodside Road.

    The following paid roles are available:

    • Stewards
    • Turnstile Operators
    • Bar Staff
    • Kitchen Staff

    Previous experience is not essential, full induction and training provided as necessary. Applicants must be aged 18+.
