Known affectionately as “Chops” or “Chopper” to friends and teammates alike, this all-action midfielder is truly one of our own. Working his way right through the ranks from our Development Centre – then U14’s, U15’s and U16’s into the U18’s who he both captained and collected winner’s medals, as a double Isthmian Youth League Champion and Sussex Dennis Probee Youth Cup winner – to the first team. Still a big part of the Academy side too, where in 2022-23 he notched an impressive seventeen goals in only twenty-five appearances to help earn promotion to Division B of the National League U19 Alliance.
Never afraid to shoot from distance either, as his incredible strike from just shy of the centre circle, in his own half, in the Sussex Community Shield Final against Broadbridge Heath, followed by the winning penalty in the match-deciding shootout that brought the silverware home demonstrated. Wearing the armband that day too, “Chops” had been equally deadly from the spot in both the semi-final and final of last season’s Sussex Senior Cup, as his burgeoning trophy cabinet continued to feel the strain.
Made his senior debut at Oxford City back in February of 2023, succeeded by a maiden start at Slough Town a fortnight later and has also managed two goals – including another long-range special – for Littlehampton Town last term. Now gaining further experience at Chichester City in the Isthmian South East on a dual-reg basis.
