Biography

Former Brighton and Hove Albion youngster who made his Senior debut at Loxwood in the Southern Combination League. Made his name with a subsequent move to Dorking Wanderers, winning promotion twice in five seasons. A Play-Off bid that ended at the semi-final stage at the hands of eventual winners Weymouth in 2019-20 was almost usurped by a title win in the succeeding Covid-affected campaign. Wands sat pretty at the top of the table and held a five-point advantage with a game in hand when that term was declared null-and-void in February 2021.

Although ‘Beardy’ got his move up the ladder by signing on the dotted line for Barnet, reaching the National League Play-Offs this time. The first of two loan moves to Eastbourne Borough drew to a close last Christmas before breaking their hearts via a Summer switch to the Sussex Transport Community Stadium.
