Tammy joins Worthing with a wealth of experience, having played for the likes of Brighton and Fulham during her successful career, which spans almost 25-years. Originally a centre forward, Tammy now plays as a centre back with a vocal persona, experienced head and detailed understanding of the game. From an early age, Tammy was ‘always a tomboy’ and would regularly play football with boys at school. She was also encouraged heavily by her PE teachers and coaches to continue playing into adulthood. Her most notable career highlights include her time in the USA and being selected for the England squad for a World Cup Qualifier against The Netherlands. Outside of football, Tammy works as Adur and Worthing Council’s Families and Wellbeing Officer, she also enjoys running, cycling, paddleboarding, walking her dog and going to the gym when she isn’t providing a calming influence on the pitch.
