Debuting in the annual behind-closed-doors, pre-season fixture against a strong Brighton & Hove Albion Xl at their Lancing Training Base, this tall defender isn’t adverse to filling in at left-back.

Having started out in the Academy of Luton Town, Toby gained his first experience of Men’s football at Isthmian League stalwarts Hendon. The 23-year-old continued a theme of playing for team’s starting with an ‘H’ by subsequently turning out for Hertford Town and Colney Heath, before going further afield to Greece with Ermis Meligous and France with US Ivry.

Flew home for a return to familiar surroundings at Step Three Hornchurch and Folkestone Invicta, then took in a single season at Wingate & Finchley where his form led to him picking up the Supporters’ and Manager’s Player of the Year accolades. An undisclosed transfer fee lured him away from North London and down to Woodside Road during the summer.
