The scoring was opened when Reece Meekums threaded the ball through to Ollie Pearce, who unleashed a beautiful strike into Preston Edwards’ furthest corner to put the Reds 1-0 up at the break.

The second half saw Crowther bring down Pearce on the edge of the area, receiving a red card.

Will Seager doubled the Reds’ lead with the subsequent corner in the 77th minute to hand Worthing all three points.
