Newman Completes Wimbledon move Club News 18 November 2022 , 12:09 GMT Fraser Morrison Midfielder Ella Newman has signed for AFC Wimbledon of the FA Women’s National League Division 1 South East The Midfielder joined the club in 2021 after being at Eastbourne Town. Newmans’s energy and ability with the ball helped her to become a key part of John Donoghue’s side making 34 appearances in her time at the club. She was part of the side which saw them come 4th in the LSERWFL in their first season in the league, who are now looking to win the league and get promotion this season. Her final game was against Sutton United in the First round of the FA Cup in which she scored 2 Goals including a wonder goal directly from a corner, plus 2 assists.
