The striker has been recognised for his incredible goalscoring form this season. He is the runaway top-scorer in the National League South with 33 goals, 13 more than any other player.

Today, Ollie was announced as the National League South’s Player of the Month for February, having scored ten goals last month, including two hattricks. Since the turn of the year, the striker’s performances have been unmatched. On New Year’s Day, he began a run of ten consecutive matches where he found the back of the net, scoring 18 goals in that run.

Ollie celebrates his fourth goal in the 6-4 win against Dover Athletic.

Notably, Ollie’s inclusion makes him the only member of the squad from the National League South, with Wyll Stanway of National League North side Chester City the only other squad member from step two.

He becomes the second Worthing player to be named in the Non-League Lions squad, following on from goalkeeper Harrison Male’s inclusion last year.

The fixture will take place at Stebonheath Park, home of Cymru South side Llanelli Town where the Non-League Lions will contest their fifth meeting with Wales following on from last year’s game at Altrincham.

The International Challenge Matches between the two nations were set up in 2018 to showcase the talent on display in non-league and the Welsh league while giving those selected the chance of international recognition. In four previous meetings, England have won two, drawn one and lost one.

Everyone at Worthing Football Club would like to congratulate Ollie on his inclusion in the squad and wish him the best of luck as he represents the Non-League Lions.
