The Basque midfielder made 25 appearances for the Rebels and became a firm fan favourite at the club last season before suffering a broken meniscus which kept him out of action for the second half of the campaign.

The summer saw him move to Hampton & Richmond Borough where he has made 11 appearances this term and he now re-joins the Rebels for his second spell at the club.

His new boss, Chris Agutter commented, “Odei needs no introduction from me to the Worthing faithful. I was really disappointed to have not tied Odei down in the summer, I love his character and mentality and couple that with his skill set, it makes him a big addition to the group – better late than never.

“As we also said when we welcomed Parts to the Club, this time of the season, where we approach the run-in, is more about mentality and attitude above anything else. Odei will help us as a team tackle the challenge ahead, zero doubt.”

Prior to his first spell with the Rebels, Odei was a fixture in the Canvey Island side that finished third in Isthmian Premier Division in 2022/23. Before that, he had experience in the National League South with Concord Rangers.

Hailing from the Basque Country, Odei initially played for his hometown side, Indartsu Club before moving to Real Union Club until 2018. He then moved to the UK and joined Heybridge Swifts.

Odei will wear the number 26 shirt for the Rebels and is available to feature in tomorrow’s match at home to Weymouth.
