The striker has been acknowledged for his rich vein of form in December that saw him score eight goals, including two hattricks, as well as provide four assists to help the Rebels become the league’s top scorers (57).
His hattricks both came at home and helped the Rebels to a 3-1 win over Chippenham Town and an emphatic 5-1 win against then-second-placed Maidstone United.
The forward is the runaway leader in the Golden Boot race in the division, topping the league’s scoring charts by a distance, having now scored 20 league goals this term in just 25 outings.
His fine goalscoring form didn’t stop after December either! Since the turn of the year, Ollie has netted five times in three matches, scoring in each of the Rebels’ matches in 2024, with his form being a catalyst to Worthing’s rise to second place in the National League South.
Pearce commented on the award: “I’m buzzing to have won the award. It’s been a good month, a good goalscoring month so I’m really happy.
“I don’t know whether it’s down to putting myself in better areas or shooting a bit more or whether it’s just down to hard work. I feel like I’m running quite a lot each game so I think it’s a case of working hard and then the goals will come.”
