The veteran Worthing midfielder recently surpassed 150 appearances for the club across two spells and has played an integral part in the club’s success over recent years.
On his time at the club, Kane said, “What can I say, it’s been some journey! It’s amazing to see how far this club has come and how much it’s grown”.
“In my first spell, we were battling relegation in the league below, and just last year, we came so close to promotion to the National League.
That progress is a testament to the incredible people behind the scenes who work tirelessly and give so much to get this club where it belongs, and it’s only a matter of time before more success is achieved.”
He will continue to be available for selection by Chris Agutter until he departs for the middle east on 5th January 2025.

The former Bognor Regis Town favourite first joined the club in 2016 and enjoyed a productive campaign as he walked away with the Manager’s, Players’ and Supporters’ Player of the Year awards.
After leaving in 2017, the midfielder had spells at both Eastbourne Borough and Dorking Wanderers, who he helped secure promotion from National League South in 2022.
Adam Hinshelwood brought the midfielder back to the club the following season as the Rebels began life at step 2 for the first time.
The 34-year-old has made over 100 appearances in his second spell at the club, scoring 7 goals and he has captained the side on numerous occasions.
He finished by saying, “Football can be a selfish game, we all know that, but I’ve loved every second of it. And it’s true what they say – it really does go by in the blink of an eye!
