Worthing’s 100% start to the season came to an abrupt halt on Bank Holiday Monday, as Burgess Hill Town not so much parked the bus, they arrived in a coach towing a caravan, followed by a fleet of taxis.
Worthing made it three from three as they returned to the top of The Bostik Premier after a hard-fought win over a spirited Harlow Town, at The McCullochs Arena.
It was a case of deja-vu at The War Memorial Sports Ground last night, as Worthing were forced to come from behind again to snatch a 2-1 win at newly-promoted Carshalton Athletic.
