The Mackerels overcame Bowers & Pitsea in midweek 2-1 thanks to goals from Thomas Chalaye and Ollie Pearce, on the back of a 3-2 win away to Wingate & Finchley last Saturday.

“It’s good to be back at home, especially after our last performance at home, we’ve got Lloyd Dawes and Danny Barker still out but everyone else is pretty much available to us”, said Hinshelwood.

Meanwhile Casuals sit bottom of the table having only won one game all season, but Hinsh insists his side must remain focused on themselves rather than the opponents.

“Every team you play which are in this sort of position are always looking for a result to kickstart their season, we just need to look to add some consistency to our performances, particularly after Tuesday so we’ll be looking to rediscover that today.”

Last campaign’s meetings between the two teams saw Worthing brush aside Casuals 2-0 at Woodside over the Christmas holidays, before battling a highly-contested 1-1 draw in Surrey towards the end of April.
