Club Statement:

Firstly, we need to acknowledge that there will be an inevitable increase in our cost base, necessary for the club to be fit for purpose, on and off the pitch, in the National League South. In part this is because we are investing in a squad that we expect to be competitive. We are also experiencing inflationary increases to our day-to-day operating costs, and we want to continue our investment in important ground improvements, our supporters match day experience and in our tech capability.

Whilst we have made huge strides in the last couple of seasons to build our sources of revenue to support expenditure, given the significant income contribution from the match day gate, it is inevitable that an increase in next seasons ticket prices will be necessary.

We have been benchmarking our prices against the rest of the division to ensure that our charges are fair. We have received unprecedented support from our fan base, especially in recent seasons, which has seen exponential growth. We know that if we are to successfully continue our journey, we must do this as one, where every member of this football club be they player, staff, supporter or sponsor, stick together. That, in turn, will help ensure the club’s finances are sustainable, which remains a fundamental priority for the Board.

We are committed to improving match day experience for supporters, so our admission prices now include an incentive for regular supporters, who don’t hold a season ticket to book in advance, either online or visit the clubs ticket office during the week.

For season ticket holders, we have maintained a deep discount for both adult and concessions and as part of our continued ambition to attract young fans and families our existing 50% discount for U16 season tickets is maintained. Season tickets will also enable entry to all women’s, academy and youth team home league matches.

We are also mindful that the headline increases in season ticket prices include two additional home games in National League South. To help, an Early Bird season ticket is now available, which will provide an additional deep discount on all adults/concession tickets purchased by midnight on Friday 24th June.

These pricing decisions are a fine balance between supporting our higher costs to operate and develop the club whilst ensuring fairness and loyalty with our supporters. We believe that these prices achieve that difficult balance.

We look forward to welcoming you back to the Crucial Environmental Stadium again for what will be an exciting season ahead.
