Worthing go into the fixture having picked up a point at home to Taunton Town on Saturday:

The game sprung to life in the fourth minute when when James Beresford was upended inside the area.

Ibrahim Akanbi stepped up to take from the spot, but his effort was saved by Jack Bycroft in the Peacock’s goal.

Akanbi then did open his account for the Reds when he put the hosts a goal up in the 11th minute, but a strike from Taunton’s Dave Sims-Burgess levelled the scoring at the interval.

Meanwhile, hosts Dulwich climbed out of the bottom four with a 2-1 win over Hungerford Town at Champion Hill.

Form

Despite sitting at opposite ends of the table both sides have picked up six points from their last six league outings.

The Reds are winless in their last five – drawing three and losing two, with their last league victory the dramatic comeback win over Cheshunt over a month ago.

The Hamlet have had a disappointing season so far, their early season form eventually costing long serving manager Gavin Rose his job. Two wins in their last three however have lifted them out of the relegation places.

Recent meetings

The two sides last met in 2017/18, a season that saw Dulwich playing home matches at the home of local rivals Tooting & Mitcham following a dispute with the local council.

The Reds were well beaten at a snowy Imperial Fields in March 2018, goals from Sanchez Ming, Dipo Akinyemi and Nyren Clunis securing the three points that went some way to helping them achieve a second-placed finish and with it, promotion to the National League.
