It will be the 23-year-old’s second spell at Worthing after a short loan at the club in February last year. He netted four times in as many starts in his short period with the Reds last season, including a brace at home against Enfield Town to set up a 3-0 win.

Rodari was recalled early from his loan on the South Coast by his parent club before being sent to Dorking Wanderers where he finished the season, making eight appearances, including four starts, scoring a single goal.

The striker spent the first half of this season on loan at fellow National League South side Dartford where he featured on 19 occasions, netting three times.

Born in Switzerland, Rodari is of Dutch and Italian descent but grew up in Novara, Italy. He moved to England in 2016 and played youth football for Eastbourne Borough before signing for Hastings in 2017.

He caught the eye during a four-year spell at the Pilot Field and famously scored eight times for the U’s in a League Cup hammering of East Grinstead Town in November 2019.

As well as his short time at Worthing last season, boss Adam Hinshelwood worked with Rodari during his time as manager of Hastings United.
