The Rebels returned to league action and to winning ways as they beat Havant & Waterlooville 3-0 at home last time out.

Goals from Kane Wills, Ollie Pearce and Danny Cashman helped the Rebels climb back up into the play-off places in the Vanarama National League South.

Boss Adam Hinshelwood was full of praise for his players after the victory, “I thought it was a really good performance. Full credit to the players, they’ve gone and executed what we’ve asked”.

The Rebels now face a busy period, with the trip to Weston-super-Mare being the first of four away games in a fortnight, plus a home match against Dartford fitted into the busy schedule.

The Opposition

Weston-super-Mare clinched the Southern League Premier South title last season to regain their National League South status.

The Seagulls are currently placed 18th in the league table, with five wins, three draws and eight defeats in the 16 matches this term.

Scott Barlett’s side have struggled of late, winning just once in their last seven matches in all competitions.

Team News

Hinshelwood has no fresh injury concerns ahead of the trip to Weston-super-Mare this weekend. Young striker Jordan Adeyemi made his full debut for the club in midweek and is available for selection again this weekend.

Jake Robinson was rested on Tuesday night which such a heavily congested fixture schedule at this moment in time.

Kick-off at The Optima Stadium is at 3pm, but all supporters have been asked to arrive 15-20 minutes earlier than usual, with additional activities going on prior to kick-off for Remembrance Day.

Tickets are ‘pay on the day’ via the turnstiles which open 90 minutes before kick-off and are priced as follows:

  • Under 16s – £4.50
  • Under 8s – Free

There is limited parking on-site at Optima Stadium, with free on-road parking locally.
