Guest of Honour

We are delighted to welcome Russ Cook, AKA Hardest Geezer to the Sussex Transport Community Stadium this afternoon.

Russ recently completed his near-impossible challenge of becoming the first person ever to run the entire length of Africa all in aid of two charities close to his heart, The Running Charity and Sandblast.

As a Worthing resident and Rebel himself, we are sure you will join us in congratulating Russ on his extraordinary achievement at the Sussex Transport Community Stadium today.

British runner Russ Cook gestures as he poses for a picture with the memorial sign marking the northern-most point of Africa upon arrival at Cape Angela, northeast of Tunis, on April 7, 2024 while surrounded by supporters who joined him for the final leg of the 16,000 kilometre challenge to run across the African continent from South Africa’s Cape Agulhas to Tunisia’s Cape Angela to raise money for charity. End-of-Season Awards

Supporters are invited to stay behind for the End of Season Awards Ceremony in the evening.

After the full-time whistle, the players will head back to the changing rooms before returning to the pitch for a lap of honour where supporters can show their appreciation for the squad after another play-off place finish in the National League South. Then, the players will gather close to the tunnel area where the awards presentation will take place.

The Fanzone will remain open and supporters will also have the opportunity to meet with the players, management, and coaching staff.

Travel & Parking

Worthing and West Worthing train stations are both approximately a ten-minute walk to the ground. Supporters travelling by rail, please check Southern Rail’s website before your journey. Ensure you leave early and in plenty of time.

The ground is situated in the heart of a residential area and parking is severely restricted on matchdays. We ask supporters to travel together and use public transport where possible. If travelling by car please respect our neighbours by parking considerately.

Documentary Filming

There will be an additional camera presence at the Sussex Transport Community Stadium this afternoon as filming continues for the exclusive documentary on TNT Sports which the club is taking part in.
