John brings with him a wealth of experience in both the Men & Women’s game. He is an UEFA A Licence Coach. John joined neighbours Lewes FC Women in 2013 and during his 4-year tenure the Team won the FA Premier League Plate as well as the Sussex County Cup. In addition in his role as Newman Lewes Academy Manager he recruited and coached many 16-18 year old players who have since gained first team experience in the Women’s Championship and National League, the Academy over 3 years won the League and Sussex FA Cup Play off final. He also managed the Women’s first team in their first season in the FA Women’s Championship. Prior to this he was 1st Team Manager at Brighton & Hove Women as well as Head Coach for Worthing College Girls Academy.

He has also been boys Academy Manager at AFC Bournemouth and previously worked for Southampton Football Club as Manager of the Women’s first team who at the time played in the National Premier League competing against Arsenal, Doncaster Belles, and many of the current Women’s Super League teams, after this John coached at Saints boys Academy for seven seasons and as Assistant Manager at conference south Dorchester Town FC.
